Welcome to our Norfolk Terrier and Belgian Tervuren family located in Oregon!
We are pleased to invite you to view our Norfolk Terriers and Belgian Tervuren and share a little
about what special breeds of dogs they are. Norfolk Terriers have made us feel we have hit the Jackpot in
our hearts and are extremely blessed to have such an incredible Breed of dogs in our home. Norfolks are truly a
gift with their love, loyalty and devotion along with an amazing zest for life and intelligence. Tervuren have a regal elegance
and calming aura about them along with a need to work and be very active. They are extremely easy to train, focused
on pleasing their person and protect our farm!
Our first Norfolk came to us in 2004 and later added various bloodlines to improve each generation
by using the AKC Standard focusing on proper structure, health and temperament.
Shortly after that, we began the show aspect of raising Norfolk Terriers by actively participating
in AKC and International Shows. The Show Ring brought many family adventures but has now, as our two boys
have matured, become Soni's passion with family still helping at home. Handling, grooming and conditioning our
dogs takes a tremendous amount of time but is happily done with a family effort.
In 2008, we added Belgian Tervuren! They quickly became a family addiction! Another
exciting Norfolk puppy addition came to us, our cherished Token.
2009 was a success in the show ring! We have had several Group Placings, enjoyed the Spring Roving
Norfolk National finishing Token's championship there being Owner handled. Fly acquired his Championship and
showed a few times as a Special winning breed each time. Also, we have added a beautiful Tervuren puppy "Gem" that
we began showing at the end of the year.
2010 - Hopefully, the first half of the year is a sign of what is to come in the second half.
Token is two now and with his development has begun to blossom in the Ring acquiring multiple Group winning/placings
including his first Group One! Gem is making progress on her Championship. Fly is still maturing but does come
out to Special on occasion. Watch for a new Norfolk pup of our own breeding, Wager, towards the end of the year.
He is quite the little man looking forward to getting in the Show Ring!
Thank you,
Soni, Gordon, Clint and Dillon Jager
